Dating can be expensive and repetitive after a while. Same old dinner and a movie might not cut it every week. I’ve rounded up a different activity for each day of the week if you’re feeling like you need to break out of your traditional date night. Some of these options are specific to the Miami area but hopefully it inspires you to try something different in your city! Always check your local cities social media accounts, they often put together free events on a weekly basis.
Monday: Meatless Monday’s
It’s the start of the week, so refuel your batteries after a long weekend by staying in and cooking a different dish together. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’m trying to adapt Meatless Monday’s into my routine. Check out one of my favorite food blogs for their healthy vegetarian recipes. And gentlemen, more points for you if you surprise your lady with a home-cooked meal!
Tuesday: Comedy Night at Ricky’s
On Tuesday’s they host a free comedy night with local talent and even some comedians that may just be passing through Miami Beach. They have 50% off their drinks during their happy hour from 5 PM to 10 PM and show begins right after. If you’re not trying to get called out by a comedian, I recommend sitting far from the stage. Click here to view their website and other events they have lined up.

Wednesday: Movies On the Lawn
Every Wednesday, rain or shine, the City of Miami Beach in partnership with Citi Bank showcases movies at SoundScape Park from October through May. This year they added free fitness classes! Get your sweat on at 7 PM (it alternates from yoga or HITT) followed by the movie at 8 PM. Bring a blanket, some snacks and a bottle of wine and relax under the stars. Click here for the list of movies being played.

Thursday: Champagne & Pasta
Start your night off at Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita (I know the longest name in the world) for $1 glasses of champagne then cross the street and make your way to Perricone’s for their special $10 plates of pasta! This only happens on Thursdays and the line can be a bit long at times but for under $40 you can have a nice date night for two in Brickell.

Perricone’s Marketplace & Café

Friday: Giralda Under the Stars
The City of Coral Gables recently renovated Giralda to make it an open space for pedestrians to roam around. This Friday, the City will be unveiling the new pedestrian promenade. This is especially exciting now as the weather gets cooler and many of the restaurants and bars will be expanding their business onto the new promenade. Expect live performances and fun events to happen in this new space! Click here for more information on the grand unveiling.
Saturday: PAMM Museum
On the second Saturday of every month, the PAMM museum opens their doors for FREE.99. Try something a little bit different with Bae. Enjoy Downtown Miami and roam around the museum and if you’re hungry stop at their cafe for a bite to eat. If the weather is nice, sit outside and take in the beautiful Miami views. Sunday: Kayaking at Oleta
If you’re looking to enjoy the great outdoors, head over to one of the most beautiful state parks in the area. Picnic tables, biking, paddling boarding and so much more. My personal favorite is to utilize their kayaks, you can rent them by the hour. Grab a small cooler, rent a kayak and make your way through the mangroves out to the nearby sandbar. Hangout in the water and take in the sunshine. Click here to check out activities at Oleta.
